Short description of Agar Ethiopia and its activities.
Agar Ethiopia Charitable Society (Agar Ethiopia) is a national non-political, non-profit making and non-governmental organization established in 2005, re-registered in 2009 and 2019 as Civil Society Organization by Agency for Civil Society Organizations.
Agar Ethiopia envisions empowered, renewed and rebuilt society of elders, children in need, returnees, mentally affected, internally displaced persons, refugees, survivors of trafficking and violence.
Agar Ethiopia facilitates human development through strategic partnership to improve the quality of life for elders, children, women, mentally affected people, refugees, returnees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking, and survivors of violence by addressing their physical, emotional and mental as well as spiritual needs; empowering them to meet their own needs by themselves.
Respect for diversity, equality, caring, integrity, impartiality, efficiency, professionalism, partnership, transparency and accountability.
Partnership/Collaboration/Networking, encourage participation and volunteerism to become the center of excellence in social service delivery.
Agar Ethiopia inspires and empowers elders, mentally affected people, refugees, returnees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking, and survivors of violence to improve their livelihood by themselves. Programs of Agar Ethiopia rest or founded on three pillars represented by “3Rs”.
